Raymond N. DuBois, M.D., Ph.D., dean of the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, discusses Stand Up to Cancer’s Catalyst Program, which is designed to speed translation of novel therapies into the clinic by encouraging cooperation between pharmaceutical companies and between the pharmaceutical industry and academic investigators. In this video interview, Dr. DuBois discusses the recent funding of ten clinical trials by the Catalyst Program. Dr. DuBois is a founding scientific advisor for Stand Up to Cancer and currently chairs the subcommittee that reviews grant applications and chooses winning proposals.  Dr. DuBois has also served as President of the American Association for Cancer Research.
